Short bio: Prof Capitolina Díaz holds a degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 1984 and a PhD in Sociology from the University of London in 1994. She is currently Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Valencia (UV).
